Our journey began in the mid 80's airbrushing dyes on wool and mohair jumpers.
Over the years we have evolved our techniques of painting dyes on wools, cottons and silks. We have explored thousands of combinations of blends of colours. For many years with the label Moonbeams we made clothing from our hand pained fabrics and airbrushed colour designs.
Today we apply our love of colour to produce unique knitted textures of colours in our headwear: headwraps, headbands and beanies. We knit our wraps on 2 ancient 1920's circular knitting machines that have been lovingly restored. We have a large range of colours in quality cottons, bamboo and merino wool and are always working on new colour designs.
We love our work and enjoy the get together time of sewing and packing..every time we send a parcel it's a bit like 'gift wrapping a present'.
